model weats blue coat, jumper and sunglasses for M&S campaignOnline shopping just got easier, as M&S online launch the ‘Style Edit’ – a guide to the season’s trends, must-have pieces and fashion news from the trusted British store.

From your staple undies to those moreish Percy Pigs, M&S is an integral part of British life. The best-loved brand have wowed us this season with their womenswear collections – a number of their warm winter coats are one our most wanted list, and their Leading Ladies campaign featuring some of the UK’s coolest ladies from Dame Helen Mirren to Karen Elson was an inspiration to all.

As part of their e-commerce site, M&S have launched the Style Edit – making online shopping easier and more enjoyable. Included in the edit are things like the latest trends, which takes current M&S pieces and showing you how to work them. This week, you can feast your eyes on the kilt trend as seen in the AW13 collection of Christopher Kane, or the Erdem inspired Dark Drama trend – perfect for the upcoming party season.

The Style Edit is also a place to find inspiring interviews with industry insiders, from home ware designer Emma Bridgewater to fragrance guru, Lyn Harris of perfume house Miller Harris.

You can also find the latest news on the fashionable goings on from inside M&S, such as the current Best of British collection which celebrates the very best design, manufacturing and heritage of women’s and men’s fashion here in the UK. As well as roundups of must-have Autumn/Winter pieces from cosy knitwear to the denim style guide.

And for when you have a little extra time on your hands whilst online shopping watch the M&S in house team explain the current collections and trends through beautifully styled video content. This month you can watch 60s icon Twiggy reveal her favourite knitwear pieces from the AW13 collections.

Shoppers can also share and connect socially with the Style Edit’s Pinterest ‘Board of the Week,’ page where M&S pick their favourite board from the week’s Pinterest goings on, from beauty trends to interiors ideas.

The M&S online Style Edit is available to browse on the M&S e-commerce site now.
