Diptyque Insolite

Diptyque LibertyDiptyque Paris team up with Liberty London to bring a luxury limited edition scented candle, diptyque Insolite, fashioned from a blended print of Liberty’s Neddingowrth and Peacock fan patterns and diptyque’s Paladin and Basile motifs.

The collaboration celebrates both design and fragrance delivering the new fragrance Insolite featuring an aroma of warm and cold spices blended with fresh zests and peels. With citrus top notes of orange and lime and warm ginger, clove and flowers as well as woody cypress and thyme, the invigorating winter scent.

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the candle, the Liberty Insolite candle comes presented in a vibrant Liberty print box featuring the Needingowrth and Peacock fan patterns and diptyque’s Paladin and Basile motifs.

Launched in 1875, Liberty first opened with the aim of transforming the look of people’s homes by selling ornaments, fabric and objets d’art from Japan and the East. Similarly, diptyque was founded in 1961 when Christiane Gautrot, interior decorator, Desmond Knox-Leet, painter and Yves Coueslant, theatre administrator and set designer teamed up to showcase their fabric and wallpaper designs for Sanderson and Liberty to name a few. 1963 saw the birth of diptyque’s fragrances with candles Aubépine, Cannelle and Thé followed by the first eau de toilette.

Fragrance your home with a burst of winter warmth, the new limited edition candle makes for the ideal gift for a loved one this Christmas or for a sneaky treat for yourself.

The new diptyque limited edition scented candle in collaboration with Liberty London is available at £45 from www.liberty.co.uk.
