We’ve always been great fans of Orla Kiely’s quirky, retro home wares. From her acorn print soft furnishings to her kitsch kitchen accessories; we’d quite happily fill each and every room of our home with a touch of Orla’s style.
So when we heard about her furniture range from the Orla Kiely Home collection we were over the moon. The collection is first standalone and largest hard furniture range from the Irish designer, inspired by mid-century design with a modern twist.
Geometric shapes, low level side units and peek-a-boo areas of Orla’s signature prints will add not only a quirky, quintessentially British touch to your home, but that cool, effortless style of the Scandis too.
As with all Kiely’s collections be it womenswear or home accessories, the furniture range uses only the highest quality materials, from chic sleek walnut to solid timber.
Highlights of the collection include the Stem Tray Side Table. This three-tiered stack of retro print trays come on a walnut base. It looks like something your grannie might have once owned, with a chic modern twist. Space-saving and highly practical, it’s the perfect helping hand for when you have guests over.
We’re also adding Orla’s Mini Larder, to our interiors wish list.
