Kid’s Cookery Classes at Jamie Oliver’s Recipease

Chicken SaladMini masterchefs in the making can hone their skills at Jamie Oliver’s Recipease cookery classes this summer, with everything from chocolate truffle making to pizza making workshops.

Looking for ways to entertain the kids this summer holiday? If you’ve got a little Nigella or indeed a junior Jamie Oliver on your hands, take them along to one of Recipease’s Kids Only cookery workshops.

With locations in London’s Clapham Junction and Notting Hill, as well as Brighton, Recipease is Jamie Oliver’s food and kitchen shop, offering everything from artisan delights to classes on how to upgrade your at-home cooking skills.

Little ones can get kneading, chopping and baking this summer as Recipease are hosting classes with no grownups allowed. There is an impressive class menu to choose from, for children of all ages and interests.

It’s a known fact that teenagers are addicted to pizza. So why not make all their dinnertime dreams come true by treating them to a Jamie Oliver Pizza Making Class? Available for ages 12-16, they’ll learn it all from making the base, choosing the toppings and cooking them in a traditional wood fired oven.

For little food enthusiatst with more of a sweet tooth, why not get them booked in to the Kids Chocolate Truffle Class? Suitable for those 7-11years, mini chocolatiers in the making can get stuck in to creating creamy chocolate and vanilla ganache. They’ll then learn how to turn these moreish mixtures (providing they haven’t eaten it all) into beautiful truffles and chocolate lolly pops. We couldn’t think of a better gift to bring home to mum.

And for the more adventurous in the kitchen, there are workshops for making a Fragrant Thai Green Curry or a Kids Pasta Maker classes. Perhaps they’ll put their newly learnt skills to good use and take over one of the midweek meal duties.

There are various Kids Only Classes at Jamie Oliver’s Recipease throughout the summer. Classes start from £15 per person and children must be accompanied by an adult.
