The world famous Barrys bootcamp arrives in London on 26th January, promising the best workout of your lives.
With motivation running high in January, what better time than to sign yourself up to one of the most physically demanding workouts around town and sweat yourself to a lean and toned body. Barry’s Boot camp was founded in Hollywood, home to the physical elite, in 1998 and is bringing its hardcore workout to the UK. If you fancy the stomach of barry’s bootcamp devotees Jessica Alba, the lithe limbs of Katie Holmes or the pert derriere of Kim Kardashian, than Barry’s bootcamp is the workout for you.
The workout is based around the idea of shocking your body, with a staggering 1000-calorie workout in a 60 minute class. The workouts will be led by US celebrity fitness trainers, who will motivate you into shape. The classes are based on 30 minutes of interval cardiovascular routines on state of the art Woodway treadmills, which are also used by the US Navy SEALs, followed by 30 minutes of strength training using free weights, bands and bars. The workout is set against a soundtrack of high-energy tunes and low, nightclub lighting to make your workout as fun as can be.
This particular interval cardiovascular approach to training is designed to help burn fat, whilst the strength training builds muscle, raises the resting metabolic rate and also improves bone density. The variety of exercises and styles used by the instructors ensures that clients of all abilities, from the absolute novices, to the more advanced, are given full balanced training.
There are no membership or joining fees at Barry’s Bootcamp and classes run throughout the day from 6am to 10pm Mon – Fri and 8:45am – 4pm Sat – Sun. Prices start from £14 – £20 per session.
