Fashion Targets Breast Cancer 2012

FASHION TARGETS BREAST CANCERFashion Target Breast Cancer launches for 2012 with charity collaborations from the likes of M&S, Topshop and My-Wardrobe.

One of Britain’s best-supported charities, Fashion Targets Breast Cancer is back for 2012 with a patriotic ‘Best of British’ theme to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Joining the fashionable line up of Great British brands are Topshop, M&S, My-Wardrobe, Debenhams and more.

There are three new trends working their way into this year’s FTBC products – Rainbow Fields, Royal Affair and Postcard Promenade – making for a very patriotic charity collaboration, and very fitting seeing as the Queen’s Jubilee and London 2012 are fast approaching. The 2012 FTBC campaign is launched on 30 April with a whole host of products from some of the UK’s biggest fashion brands. Plus, each item carries a minimum of 30% donation to Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s life-saving work, allowing the fashion industry to give something back to an incredibly important cause.

Topshop have continued to support the charity, this year focusing on the Rainbow Fields trend. Perfect for a summer filled with festivals and days in the park, Topshop’s young, trendy and grunge inspired collection of scarves and bracelets are the coolest way to support the charity. We’re loving the TS cream and purple lightweight summer scarf – perfect for brightening up a vintage tee and jeans. Priced at £18, a 30% donation will be going to FTBC.

Celebrate all things British with the Royal Affair collection. Coast’s statement pillar-box red Natasha Dress will steal the show at a Jubilee garden party this summer and is reasonably priced at just £150. Or, for a more subtle approach, Daisy’s sweet Chakra bracelets available from My-Wardrobe.com and designed exclusively for FTBC, can be worn as a sweet reminder to this important cause.

Finally, even if you are escaping the UK this summer, FTBC still have some great pieces that you can take on holiday with you. M&S’s Floral Swimsuit is both flattering and on trend in a cute ditsy floral print. At only £35 and with 30% going to the charity it’s a great way to look stylish on the beach and help towards a good. And for that hectic plane journey to get there, go stylish and handsfree with the pretty M&S Floral Satchel.  With plenty of compartments for a book and a boarding pass, and in this season’s favourite pastel colours; this satchel is the perfect travel companion.

It’s a terrifying but true fact that one in every eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer sometime in their lives, so support the cause and make a difference in style.

The 2012 Fashion Targets Breast Cancer campaign launches 30 April online and at selected stores.
