The historic city of Chester comes alive this Christmas with a festive line up to keep young and old entertained.

The festive market hits the streets of Chester this December with everything yuletide, musical performances, craft stalls, a selection of artisan foods and even a Santa’s Grotto.

Warm yourself up with some tasty festive treats from the market stalls such as Christmas puddings, cheeses, whilst local bands will provide a soundtrack of festive cheer and Christmas classics.

Older children will be pleased to hear that the Town Hall Square is playing host to a traditional fun fair with attractions such as a Christmas Toboggan ride and Santa’s Sleigh. Little ones will delight in a trip to Santa’s Grotto where they can meet the man himself and prove they’ve been good all year long.

The Chester Christmas Market runs between 24 November – 31 December. Tickets for Santa’s Grotto are priced at £4.50 per child.
