Sonic toothbrushes are reportedly more effective at brushing than electric toothbrushes, and certainly feel gentler – essential if you tend to overdo the sugary, teeth-staining cocktails on holiday. The issue I have always had with my electric toothbrush is how often I need to charge it – it even came with a bulky travel-charging case, which I have used a lot! But now Silk’n looks set to change all that; 1 charge gives 300 days of battery power! There are 3 modes to choose from; sensitive, clean and white (yes please!) each mode feels incredibly thorough yet so very gentle, it’s also SO much quieter than my electric toothbrush. The MOST essential of all holiday essentials, is the sun care and new (to me) brand Delph ticks all the right boxes and then some! I am an Spf obsessive, and Delph is 1 of only 7 sun creams which can be prescribed by doctors, for people with medical conditions. It’s also great for people who suffer with prickly heat as it allows the pores to ‘breathe’ – this would have been a godsend for me in my sunbathing days as I used to get itchy prickly heat all the time (I’m a good girl now and haven’t sunbathed like that since I was 27). Delph sun cream absorbs quickly, doesn’t leave a white cast, doesn’t feel sticky (including on the hands – I can’t stand that feeling!) cares for the skin and it is so affordable (£5.49 for the spf 50!!), there is nothing not to like!! Delph has also got me back into After Sun – the after-sun lotion is anti-inflammatory and soothing, containing Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to hydrate and prevent peeling, and again, it is fast-absorbing and non-sticky – I’d say, the perfect after-sun!
