Petit Bateau x Jean Jullien Collection

Brand new to Petit Bateau is their collaboration with acclaimed illustrator and graphic artist Jean Jullien.

The Petit Bateau x Jean Jullien Collection is a chic capsule range for kids, adults and babies, with something for everyone to explore. Combining signature Petit Bateau style with Jean Jullien’s brilliant artistic flair, you’ll find the entire range both online and in stores now.

As part of the collaboration, Jean Jullien illustrated animals in his own unique style, including a dog, cat, sheep and zebra. Petit Bateau’s designers subsequently made patches of these pictures, with Jullien also adding his take on the cult spots and stripes which Petit Bateau are known for. These were then knitted by Petit Bateau in blue and white, seamlessly creating the work of a dream team.

Within the collection, pieces include an adult sweatshirt (£79), that is ideal for those off-duty days still requiring a classic look. The Sweatshirt in Collaboration with Jean Jullien showcases his aforementioned stripe twist. Whether your wardrobe is bursting with Breton, or you feel like adding in a new type of stripe, this casual luxury could be your AW19 go to. Paired with on-trend faux leather leggings is how I intend to wear it, and as we know, mixing blue and black is tres Parisian.

For any new additions to your family (I have a baby nephew in mind), the collection spans across: Babies’ Long-Sleeved Bodysuit in a 3-piece Set (from £29), a Unisex Babies’ Sweatshirt in spot or stripe (from £29), a Baby Girls’ Long-Sleeved Dress (from £39) and a Baby Boys’ Long Jumpsuit (also from £39). Timeless cuties that would make excellent Christmas presents too, these beautiful creations are childhood classics.

Finally, if you have little ones who are slightly older, delve into a spotty dress with said dog picture on it (from £44), super cute Baseball Jacket (from £54) or a Sweatshirt in the same two designs as the baby ones (from £39).

Stock up the family and make this quirky cool collection part of this season’s firm wardrobe favourites. I’ll race you to Petit Bateau.
