We’ve spent the last 5 years or so lusting after his womenswear line, its no wonder that now we’ve fallen in love with his childrenswear too.

Kid by 3.1 Phillip Lim is a capsule collection for little girls aged three to nine and just like the main line, is full of street-style gems with an elegant, chic edge.  Looking at this season’s collection my first thoughts were, this is exactly what I would have loved to have worn growing up.

The stand-out pieces of the collection include a gorgeous cropped shearing jacket that will be one of the most practical and stylish pieces in your daughter’s wardrobe when winter hits.  A classic tan rain mac will be a match made in heaven with coloured Wellingtons and a printed umbrella.  Or, cosy woolen tunic sweaters with matching mittens, so charming we wish they did them in grown-up sizes.

With a colour palette of burnt oranges, grey marls, camels, and caramels this collection is a welcomed change from the usual pinks and prints girls collections are so often saturated in.  It’s also a great choice if you’ve got a little fashionista on your hands.  Each piece is fashion-forward but still practical and pretty enough to remain age appropriate.
