Never heard of a gimlet? It’s one of the classic cocktails which takes pride of place in the Tanqueray archive. A simple cocktail which comprises gin, lime and plenty of ice, serve this refreshing tipple in an short glass – it’s perfect when you need a break from festive flavours.
What You’ll Need:
- 40ml Tanqueray
- 5ml Honey
- 3/4 Limes
- 1 Lemon
- 3/4 Mint leaves
- 4 Blueberries
- 1.4 units per serve
What To Do:
- Cut 1/2 a lime and 1/2 a lemon into 1/4 inch slices, and place aside for garnishing later.
- Cut and quarter the rest of the lemons and limes.
- Muddle lemons and limes in glass until mixed, add mint and continue to muddle together.
- Add 5ml of honey and 40ml of Tanqueray to the mixture.
- Give contents a stir and pour over ice into each glass.
- Cut fresh blackberries in half and add to mixed cocktail in each glass.
- Top with splash of soda water and garnish with previously cut lemon and lime slices.
