LONDON COCKTAIL WEEK

In case you’ve been confined to the house this week, London Cocktail Week has been sharing all manner of booze-based bonhomie and loveliness across the Capital since Monday, as it strides into its eighth year of innovation and excellence.

Fear not, though, intrepid StyleNester, as the next three days are jam-packed with inspirational goodness wherever you find yourself.

The biggest party of its kind, The Cocktail Village is at the heart of London Cocktail Week since the sheer scale of the event saw the move from Seven Dials three years ago. Set in the historic Old Spitalfields Market, The Cocktail Village is an immersive maze of bespoke pop-up bars in trucks, vans and even on bicycles from the biggest names in drinks, all serving up their signature £6 cocktails.

While the week has already seen incredible, bespoke collaborations, there’s still all manner of wonder and joy to be had; from sustainable cocktails to brand new brand launches, and much more. As if that weren’t enough a pass gets you access to discounted, brand new cocktails at more than 250 exceptional bars across the city.

There’s a year of curated passion and coordination which goes into creating this celebration of cocktails and good times by the superhumans at Drink Up London. Scores of brands, bars  creatives, artists and bartenders come together to create something pretty remarkable imho; I can think of no better way to (responsibly) spend your weekend.

Cheers!

A few highlights

Trash Tiki

Globally touring Trash Tiki is returning home to London! A pop-up and online platform founded by Kelsey Ramage and Iain Griffiths, Trash Tiki creates all ingredients for a tiki bar from off-cuts, unsold products and other raw materials that would otherwise end up in the bin to raise awareness of the amounts of waste produced by the food and drink industry every day.

Making it extra special, the entire pop-up will be run from the food and drink waste donated by vendors at The Cocktail Village, and international special guests Bethany Ham (LA) and Zachary de Git (Singapore) will be joining the duo behind the bar for a week of loud music, good times and anti-waste cocktails.

Each session will last 1 hour and you will gain access to the Single Estate Rooms private bar, as well as trying Belvedere’s two brand new 100% rye vodkas.
