I’m at that age where my extremely (aherm) happy youth is catching up with me. Or those things I call laughter lines might also be known as crows’ feet!! Whatever name I give them, I have started to notice an extra crinkle or two around my eye area.
Normally any products relating to eyes are preceded with ‘delicate’, and I have therefore always been a tad apprehensive of fiddling with the peepers. Mainly because I don’t want to cock up! With many of my peers advocating Botox, I have swerved this with a vengeance, probably as I am petrified of needles, so any semi-permanent fillery things are out of the question!
However, the Wunderlift cream comes in a tube, and seems to have been designed for folk like me! Promising to tighten and fill those pesky late night wrinkles and dark circles, that I take full responsibility for, I jumped at the chance to try it…
To be honest the packaging doesn’t look particularly swish (like a plain white lip salve tube) which you are advised to shake before each use. Interestingly, the cream comes out in a tint. Presumably one tint fits all, as it is easily absorbed in to the skin with no tell-tale filter lines. The best way to describe this is a super soft mousse, which gives is a slight tingle but is not uncomfortable, and then you leave it. Go brush your teeth or hair or make a coffee. Just don’t fiddle with your face! Leave it for the prescribed 60 seconds, and then some, to allow the poducts’ micro-filler technology to dry in, and you can’t help but notice that you feel more fresh and tight.
Thankfully the colour tint is universal and if you are that way inclined, you can add a face full of foundation on top, although I can’t vouch for that as it’s not my bag. You don’t need much for every application, and it’s so easy to do, I can see an addiction coming on. One squeeze comfortably lasts a day at the office, but I would recommend a re-fill if you’re on the razz after work.
