Summer Lovin’

Post-Beauty Bulletin 2There have been lots of new makeup announcements and launches over the past week, as well as some potential skincare and fragrance gems, to see you through the summer and leave you looking forward to autumn.

Urban Decay’s new collections always make a spectacular entrance, dressed to the nines. Their upcoming autumn line-up is no different and will not disappoint. The highlight of their new launches will be the All Nighter Foundation (£27 and available from September 2016). This full-coverage, waterproof, matte foundation is designed to perfect the skin with light-diffusing pigments and smoothing silicones. There are so many shades to suit literally every skin tone, and the metal cut-out packaging is stunning.

More foundation news is from Estee Lauder. Their summer line-up includes the new Double Wear Nude Cushion Stick Radiant Makeup (£28 and available from July 2016). This foundation has been created for easy, on-the-go use – the product is dispensed through and applied via a cushioned tip. The foundation itself is supposed to be hydrating on the skin, long-wearing and it will be available in 20 shades to suit all skin tones.

There are more products coming from Kate Moss’ collaboration with Rimmel. There’s a new range of lipsticks and nail polishes to celebrate their 15th anniversary. There are six new Lasting Finish Lipsticks by Kate in red and nude shades, and three Super Gel Nail Polishes by Kate in red, beige and rose-gold. If you love the formula of the Lasting Finish Lipsticks, snap these new ones up now from Boots and Superdrug.

There are lots of micellar cleansing waters on the market, following on from the cult Bioderma phenomenon. The latest one might be the most expensive of all – the Crème de la Mer Micellar Cleansing Water (£65 and available from 15th July 2016) is a very luxurious way to remove your makeup. It removes waterproof makeup and impurities, is very hydrating and soothes the skin too – all via the unique formula that include purifying algae.

If you are a fan of Ghost’s fragrances, you’ll be pleased to hear there’s a new one and it has just gone on sale. The new scent is called Whitelight (£25 for 30ml) and it’s still in their iconic moon-shaped bottle but with a cool holographic finish. It’s a real summer scent, with top notes of peach, mandarin and pear; heart notes of jasmine violet and rose; and base notes of patchouli, vanilla and amber.
