Margherita Missoni Launches Kids Line Exclusively at John LewisMargherita Kids, the childrenswear collection designed by one of the heirs to the Missoni House and director of the accessories line for the house, is launching in the UK exclusively at John Lewis.

Margherita Maccapani Missoni Amos debuted her collection in March 2015, but is set to launch here with the Autumn 16 collection.  The 37 piece range features an array of whimsical styles including a marle knit cardigan, a retro ombre garter stitch sweater, a quilted coat with oriental print and a delicately embroidered circle dress.

Of the collection Margherita Maccapani Missoni Amos says, “I created Margherita Kids as an outlet that brings together my background in fashion and my experiences: the things I’ve seen, the people I’ve met, the places I’ve been. I’ve always had a creative instinct and as a mother of two children, I understand the desire for childrenswear to be beautiful as well as playful and I hope this brand will inspire parents and children to nurture their own creative impulses.”

The collection has been designed to be easily mixed and matched offering an eclectic combination of colour tones and textures in a sophisticated way.  Dresses, tops, bottoms and outerwear, all feature in a unique assortment of patterns and fabrics and give a nod to the vintage, casual-chic aesthetic synonymous with Margherita’s deep heritage in fashion.

Prices range from £20 – £52 and will be available for newborns and little ones up to age seven. It will be available across John Lewis stores and online at johnlewis.com, this August.
