Dennis Basso Launches Childrenswear Exclusively at Harrods
One of America’s most celebrated premiere designers, Dennis Basso, has recently launched an exclusive childrenswear line at Harrods. A collection of exquisite evening wear, the range encompasses old school Hollywood glamour designed with “little ladies” in mind.
Celebrating occasionwear and sophisticated dressing, the collection mirrors Dennis Basso’s overall design ethos and beautiful attention to detail. With a career spanning across four decades to date, his dresses have featured on the most fashionable and influential women across the world. Signature designs have been worn by Hollywood favourites such as Meryl Streep in “The Devil Wears Prada” and Nicole Kidman in “Nine”. Gracing the pages of top glossies including Elle, Vogue and W, Dennis’ dresses all prioritise glamour, glitz and classic elegance. Intricate hand-embroidered silk tulle, taffeta and duchess satin, as well as mini gowns of hand-cut silk organza tiers with beaded lace detailing feature throughout the collection – perfect for special occasions”.
The stunning dresses are adorned with pearls, embellishment and flowers, all hand-crafted by an expert design team. Shades of white, silver, pale blue, light pink, lilac and navy can be found, alongside glittering hues of bright red and gold. Beaded lace, tulle flower brooch belts, crystal and satin comprise just a small selection of the breathtaking detail in the collection, created to make mini dress dreams come true.
