Spice Market Brunch Menu

Boiled eggs, Kaya toastLondon’s Spice Market launches Asian inspired brunch menu.

There’s nothing more StyleNest loves than a long, lazy brunch and the menu at Spice Market London raises the brunch bar to a whole other level. Inspired by the flavours of Southeast Asian cuisines, Spice Market offers a twist on some of our favourite brunch classics.

From pork belly eggs Benedict with green chilli and yuzu Hollandaise to Devonshire crab and scrambled egg with smoked paprika as well as Pandan waffle with coconut cream and salted caramel, the menu has all the favourite breakfast treats have but reinvented with an Asian twist.

Located in the über stylish W London hotel, Spice Market was created by Michelin starred chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten after being inspired by his travels around Southeast Asia and their colourful street food scene.

StyleNest sampled a range of brunch dishes to help cure our winter blues and fill our bellies with both a sweet and savoury selection. First up was a grown-up take on the classic dippy eggs and soldiers with the Kaya brioche toast layered with a green jam made from pandan laves. Next, we sampled the coconut pancakes with palm sugar glazed bacon, followed by a delicious sugar rush from the cashew caramel roll with whipped honey butter. To finish, a refreshing mango parfait with lemongrass yoghurt and homemade granola cleansed the palette whilst giving us a one-pot taster of the Southeast.

And if you’re nursing a hangover, Spice Market’s selection of cocktails will offer the perfect hair of the dog remedy – the Spicy Thai Mary, Kumquat mojito and homemade sodas such as Passion Chilli and Cherry Yuzu are only a few of Spice Market’s brunch offerings.

The sister restaurant to Spice Market in New York’s Meatacking District, the brunch menu at Spice Market London was devised by executive chef Peter Lloyd and is served every Sunday from 12-3.30pm.
