Always love horseradish when you are out for a meal but can never master the art of it? This quick and easy recipe is perfect for you. Slather on your steak or dollop on your Sunday roast.
This sauce can be made with fresh or jarred horseradish.
Serves 2-4

What you’ll need:
- 1 tbsp grated horseradish, fresh or jarred
- 2 tbsp low fat natural yoghurt or crème fraiche
- Salt and pepper
- Squeeze of lemon
- 2 tsp chopped chives (optional)
What to do:
- Put the horseradish and yoghurt or crème fraiche into a bowl and add seasoning.
- Squeeze in the lemon juice and mix thoroughly.
- Add the chopped chives (if using) and mix again.
- Taste the sauce; if it is too hot add more yoghurt or more horseradish if you want it hotter.
