The Nutcracker cocktail

The Nutcracker at GONG BarLRGong, London’s highest bar at Shangri-La Hotel At The Shard, brings you this deliciously spiced- infused cocktail which you can now recreate in your own home – just in time for the festive season.

The Nutcracker infuses a delicious blend of Scotch whisky, Pedro Ximenez sherry, a hint of French herbal liqueur, Dom Benedictine and pimento dram to recreate the spices of a traditional mulled wine. Sprinkled with burnt Chinese cinnamon, it’s the perfect winter nightcap.

What You’ll Need:

  • 45ml Auchentoshan Three Wood Scotch Whiskey
  • 20ml Pedro Ximénez Sherry
  • 5ml Dom Benedictine
  • 5ml Pimento dram liqueur
  • Chinese cinnamon

What To Do:

  • Pour all ingredients into a large goblet glass, over a crystal clear ice block or regular ice cubes and stir well.
  • Lightly burn the Chinese cinnamon for a few seconds to awaken the aroma and use as garnish for the glass.
  • Sip and enjoy.
