For those looking for a bite to eat after their visit to The Wallace Collection, or even just looking for good food in beautiful surroundings in the heart of Marylebone, the newly re-launched Wallace Restaurant is the place to be.

The much anticipated relaunch and reopening of The Wallace Collection Restaurant celebrates a significant refurbishment as well as an exciting and modern European menu.

The expansive but serene ambience of the restaurant dining space is as close as possible to al fresco without being outdoors – the courtyard is filled with natural light and dotted with tall trees and sculptures creating a bright and airy atmosphere.

You can enjoy these stunning surroundings whilst indulging in seasonal dishes including such delights as pine-smoked partridge with cereals, green tea and cauliflower; chick pea gnocchi, sprouting broccoli, chillies and Scottish pheasant, red cabbage, Jerusalem artichoke and cinnamon dust.

Desserts include a deconstructed tiramisu including coffee parfait, mascarpone and chocolate tuile or choose from a selection of French cheeses all served with Peyton and Byrne breads.

The extensive wine list includes a wide selection of French wines both served by the bottle and by the glass. Various cocktails, both classic and contemporary, are also available as well as a variety of healthy fresh fruit juices and smoothies. On Friday and Saturday evenings the bar offers a tapas menu including Octopus and black olive crumble and Roasted squash and goats curd tortilla.

Alternatively, throughout the day, there is a more informal à la carte menu offering in the café area of the restaurant for those wanting a casual, lighter meal. Options include a range of quiches and salads from the counter and a spicy sausage and squid hot pot. There is also a large selection of Peyton and Byrne cakes and tarts available throughout the day as well as a classic Afternoon Tea.

The Wallace Restaurant’s modern European menu has something for all tastes and is a wonderful experience throughout the week especially on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Open daily from Sunday-Thursday, 10am until 4.30pm, and on Friday and Saturday from10am-10.30pm. Breakfast is served 10am-Noon, Lunch from Noon-3pm, Afternoon Tea 2.30pm-4.30pm, and Dinner (Friday and Saturday only) 6pm-10.30pm.

The Wallace Collection is open daily from10am-5pm. Admission free.
