Upon entering the bustling salon (no we didn’t spot any Made In Chelsea faces), we were guided downstairs where we seated at the back basin in preparation for the treatment.
Formulated with keratin, anti-oxidant vitamin C, cider vinegar and paraben free nourishing argan oil, this bespoke formula offers a rich protein detox mask which helps to purify the hair as well as nourish, add volume and cleanse by smoothing the hair cuticle and removing product build-up.
Usually a one-hour treatment, the treatment was reduced slightly due to having coloured hair. The antioxidant cocktail was applied to dampened hair and left for about 7-10 minutes, helping to deeply cleanse all the impurities by opening the cuticles and allowing the treatment to penetrate into the scalp.
Next, our hair was then towel-dried and a high protein organic keratin and argan oil mask was massaged onto the scalp, almost sending us to sleep. After the relaxing massage, the product was then combed through and we were directed under a steamer where we casually caught up on all the gossip for the next 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, the mask had deeply penetrated the hair cuticle, detoxifying months of dry shampoo, hair spray and environmentally damaged hair. After washing our hair, we were now ready for our Hollywood blow dry.
For the big reveal, Senior Stylist Joesph Bilton styled our hair, transforming it from limp and dull to voluminous, shiny and smooth. After an hour of rollers, blow drying and hair tongs, Joe had nourished our hair, making it Friday night ready and looking healthier than we’d seen it in years. As the salon got quieter, the music got louder, really putting us in the mood to go out and dance. Despite raining (of course), determined not to let our new Hollywood hair stay indoors, StyleNest showed off our new detoxified and voluminous locks.
