No7 launches Early Defence skincare range

No7If you think that in the beauty industry everything has been achieved, think again.

The experts behind No7 have been developing skincare solutions suitable for all ages ever since 1935, when the story of the brand began.

This year they have set their bar even higher by creating the new Early Defence Skincare range. What is different about it, you might ask? As we all know there are thousands of anti-wrinkle creams on the market. The secret of young skin is to start using those products from a younger age but younger women don’t think it’s necessary to use them especially since most of them are likely greasy and will cause a break out.

The Early Defence range is created especially for those women. It is specifically designed to cater for the skincare needs of women between the age of 20 and 35 and to help them take control of the future of their skin. The range consists of a Day Cream (£19.50), Night Cream (£19.50) and Eye Cream (£13.50).

The range uses a technology that is called “Double Defence”. In other words, it is a powerful blend of anti-oxidants and matrix metalloprotease (MMP) inhibitors that in combination with No7’s 5* UVA technology gives skin advanced daily protection from the sun and environmental stress to help it look younger for longer. The creams also contain a broad spectrum of antioxidant complex which has been designed to neutralise the damaging free radicals that cause the skin oxidative stress. It also has a combination of Ginseng, Mulberry, Vitamin C, Lipochroman and Vitamin E.

But enough about the technology behind the skincare. Here at StyleNest we gave the range a try.

Early Defence Day Cream:

It’s hypo allergenic so it feels great even on sensitive skin. It’s moisturising, but it’s not greasy which is important since warmer days are ahead. The SPF is really important as well and will slow down skin ageing caused by sun damage. Skin feels silky smooth and soft. It is suitable for oily skin and hasn’t caused any breakouts.

Early Defence Night Cream:
Smells divine and it’s very similar to the day cream, it’s hypo-allergenic as well but without the SPF and UVA protection. However, like most night creams it is slightly heavier and creamier, but in the morning skin feels well hydrated.

Early Defence Eye Cream:
One of the best eye creams on the market. It is hypo-allergenic as well and it doesn’t cause any burning or watering when applied and feels very gentle.

To conclude, the range consists of some really good moisturisers, the added anti-ageing properties are an added extra benefit.
