Lancome have launched their newest foundation, Miracle Cushion. Designed to emphasis your natural beauty with it´s sheer, luminous finish, this light liquid foundation is contained not within a bottle, but within an innovative cushion held in a portable compact.
Unlike many other foundations, which promise to last all day but can loose their freshness by the afternoon, Lancôme have designed Miracle Cushion foundation with touch-ups in mind, to keep your complexión looking fresh and flawless all day long. For this reason they have designed the packaging to be super portable. The foundation at first looks like a powder compact, but inside hides the cushion, filled with the fluid foundation. The cushion not only holds onto the foundation, making it easy to carry and reapply during the day, but it´s high air content, thanks to it´s thousands of tiny holes, means the foundation always comes out fluid, light, and with an even application. To complement the cushion, Lancôme have also specially designed the sponge applicator pad that sits separately inside the compact. The structure of the pad, like the cushion, means that both will dispense just the right amount of product for a smooth, perfect application and buildable coverage.
As well as paying special attention to the application, the formulation of the foundation itself has also been designed to give a perfect finish, which feels comfortable and weightless on the skin. The foundation has been developed with a high water content, and is enriched with moisturising oils, some of which evaporate upon contact with the skin to leave behind a satiny smooth application of colour and a luminous finish. Enriched with adenosine, known for it´s anti-wrinkle properties, as well as ester oil and glycerine to help to keep skin hydrated and comfortable for 4 hours. StyleNest found skin was not only left smoother and more even, but also younger looking with a fresh, glowing finish, which thanks to the new portable cushion design, we could enjoy all day long.
