The highly anticipated debut fragrance from the ever-so chic fashion house captures the essence of its cool-girl label; it’s floral, playful and oozes with confidence.

Rumour on the fashion grapevine is that it took over 1,200 attempts to get this exactly right! In this case, the proof is in the perfume as the scent is deliciously soft and fresh with a contrasting deep, earthy background. The fragrance combines jasmine and rose absolute with notes of wood and spice from “Akigalawood”, an extract of patchouli. The contradicting scents embody everything that Miu Miu stands for- it breaks the rules and does so beautifully.

The bottle itself is a statement piece, with its soft-blue pillowed opaque glass, white matte collar and cherry red bottle top. It is set to be a collector’s item that will hold pride of place on any dressing table.

French-English actor, Stacy Martin (you may recognise her from Nymphomaniac, the film) is the face of the fragrance and according to the brand, she is “Miu Miu personified” Dressed in a sky blue patterned party dress, Martin encapsulates the cheeky, feminine spirit of the fragrance. And because there is a mischievous quality to the label, and that too of the fragrance, it would be unfair if Stylenest didn’t give her cute co-star, Truman (a black and white kitten) a mention too!
