Laura Mercier Folklore Collection

Laura MercierLaura Mercier launches new Folklore collection for Spring Summer 2013. An Aztec inspired collection enriched with warm earthy tones which will unveil your inner bronzed goddess.

This April sees the launch of the new Laura Mercier collection, a Aztec inspired collection with cultural influences of south and Central America. Expressed through rich and warm colour palettes, the new collection offers earthy tones with a tribal influence.

Reminiscent of ancient symbols, textiles and jewellery, the spirit of earth and fire, the new collection is a fusion of contemporary Aztec style.

Bronzed, sun-worshipped and glowing with a warm copper of earthy tones, the new collection offers a healthy veil on the skin. Drenching the complexion in golden shimmer, the Folklore collection dusts the eyes in shades of gold, copper and bronze. Natural and healthy, the eyes are highlighted with an opulence of gemstone colours of blue and green with a slick line whilst the lips glisten with a delicate shade of brown and pink tones.

Golden and natural, the limited edition Folklore collection offers a sun kissed look which can be achieved with or without the sun. The hero of the collection is the Baked Blush Bronze in Ritual which delicately dusts your face in a natural and healthy looking glow. Next up, is the Illuminating Eye Colour in Sun Glow, Fire Glow and Earth Glow which melts into your lids like a creamy veil of colour. Rich in shimmer and dense in pigment, this luminous finish shadow is ideal to wear either day or night. With bronzes dominating the complexions of the catwalks of Chloe, Versace and Roberto Cavalli for SS13, the sun kissed look is evidently a key trend for SS13.

Whether you are going away this summer or not, fake the sun kissed look if you can’t make it and glow from ear to ear.
