Dree Hemingway announced as the face of Chloé’s new fragrance campaign

Chloe Dree HemingwayDree Hamingway, great-grandaughter of infamous author Ernest Hemingway is announced as the new face of Chloe’s eponymous fragrance.

The embodiment of modern feminity and effortless style, Dree follows in the footsteps of fellow Chloé girls Clemence Poesy, Anja Rubik and Chloe Sevigny. Chosen for her free-spirit and natural beauty, Dree perfectly reflects the cool French-girl vibe that the label is synonymous with.

Speaking of the announcement, Claire Waight Keller, Chloé’s Creative Director expressed of the choice to cast Dree:

“She completely embodies the Chloé girl’s spirit and attitude. Her radiant beauty and personality express everything I wanted to convey with the fragrance. It is her incredible ability to be elegant, nonchalant and spontaneous all at once that is both modern and charming”

An actress and international model, Dree has most recently starred in While We’re Young by Noah Baumback and Happy People by Logan Sandler, two indie films that are coming to cinemas soon. Having previously walked in Chloés pre-fall 2015 show in March, Dree is no stranger to the brand’s personality, which she is certain to bring to life in the campaign that will be revealed in September, further details of which are still under wraps.

“I am very honored to be the new face of Chloé. It is a brand that has been part of my life for a long time; it brings up a lot of memories for me. I am looking forward to continuing my story with Chloé into the world of fragrance“, says Dree.

The fragrance was launched seven years ago, and has since become an emblematic creation of the Chloé house. Complete with a hand tied ribbon, the polished silver and glass bottle has become an iconic fixture on perfume shelves the world over.

With several films on the horizon and an international modelling career, Dree Hemingway is set to go stratospheric with It-girl status once the campaign lands. We can’t wait.
