Carine Roitfeld for MAC Cosmetics

Carine Roitfeld for MAC MakeupOne of the world’s most famous fashion editors and style icons, Carine Roitfeld teams up with cult beauty brand MAC Cosmetics for a unique collaboration.

Her signature smoky eye, the way she wears a classic trench or her enviable, never-ending wardrobe – if there’s one thing Carine Roitfeld has, it’s style. The famous fashion editor has now teamed up with cult makeup brand MAC in a collaboration that is sure to be one of the coolest of AW12.

Carine Roitfeld for MAC sees the fashion icon pick out her top pieces from the brand so fans can emulate her signature look. If you’ve ever lusted over the perfect smoky eye that’s become just as much a part of Carine’s look as her clothes, well now you can.

Picking out her must-have colours and tools, Carine and MAC have together compiled Full Face Kits containing four chic Eye Shadows and a Cremeblend Blush – perfect for attaining Carine’s effortless Parisian cool. The palettes contain dark, moody colours perfect for autumn and nodding to this season’s dark romantic trend, from ‘CAMO’ a soft velvety taupe to ‘CARBON’ the most intense jet black. Strong eyes should be finished off with a sweep of smudgy kohl, so Carine’s included one in the collection too.

Also in the collection are all the tools deemed necessary for achieving that statement Roitfeld brow. Thin, perfectly plucked brows are a thing of the past, so build yours up for a dramatic look using the collaborative collection’s Eye Brows in Brunette.

The collection is rounded off with some handbag must-haves of Carine’s, including her favourite MAC mascaras, a Lipstick in muted Tropical Mist and Mineralize Concealer to ensure your complexion is always looking flawless.

Lastly, Carine’s look wouldn’t be complete without a polished layer of nail colour. Go for dark, gothic shades like deep berry or keep it modern and chic with a nude shade for a barely there look.

The Carine Roitfeld for MAC collection is available online and at MAC stores now. Prices start from £10.
