Having opened in early September, the 18th century renovated building is the latest venture from Carole Bamford, brainchild behind Daylesford and Bamford.

With 12 cosy bedrooms, The Wild Rabbit makes for the perfect weekend retreat for any and every occasion. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for just the two or fresh air for the whole family, the intimate pub offers the ultimate oasis less than two hours from London.

With open doors to four legged friends and city slickers, the rooms have access to Wi-Fi, Smart TV, Nespresso coffee machine, IPod docking station and Bamford Bath & Body products for the ultimate luxurious experience.

Located in the quiet village of Kingham, The Wild Rabbit offers both guests and diners with a traditional British country-dining scene complete with a warm contemporary aesthetic. The open plan kitchen fragrances the dining room with hearty locally sourced produce with seasonal dishes such as organic lamb rack, roast pork loin and juicy sirloin steak.

For quiet drinks, the pub offers a menu of beers from local breweries as well as some of your familiar favourites. Drink and dine with a range of nibbles from the bar snack menu as well as food from the restaurant menu whilst the cosy log fire keeps you toasty on a chilled winter’s day

Prices are from £105 per night for a small double room for two people B&B. Starters in the restaurant begin from £7.50 and main courses from £13.50.
