This year, Packham and her team have joined forces with hotel giant The Mandarin Oriental London, to offer brides the ultimate in fashionable wedding packages.
First things first. As the pinnacle of the day, getting a wedding dress right is no mean feat. Packham though, has you covered – not only will you be able to walk down the aisle in threads spun by the designer, but you’ll also receive a 10% – 15% discount and a hand drawn sketch of your dress to keep. You’ll also be able to make your arrival at the hotel through the royal entrance on Hyde Park – a nice touch, we think.
Following the ceremony, you’ll be able to lead your guests to the hotel’s 24-carat gilded ballroom, for a serving of the Mandarin’s signature catering. Start the evening with a pre-dinner canape reception with two glasses of champagne per person. Then, move onto a three course wedding lunch with half a bottle of wine per guest and mineral water. Delightful.
No need to rush off following the festivities though – the bride and groom can enjoy a complimentary night in the hotel’s junior suite, to ensure they are refreshed for brunch the following morning. Served for up to 12 guests in a private room, it would prove ideal for those who might have enjoyed the festivities a little too much. The happy couple are also offered a complimentary night at any Mandarin Oriental hotel worldwide as part of the package.
