Having previously ticked two out of the three boxes (romantic getaway and sunset beach parties), we decided to explore the family side to the island at Santa Marina Resort & Villas.

The Ginkgo spa offers a range of head to toe treatments with ESPA and Phytomer products. Enveloped by a river of shallow waters, the spa instantly seduces you into a realm of relaxation. The perfect balance and restoration for those seeking calm after a night of partygoing until sunrise. I booked in for an Aromatherapy Massage using essential oils to help calm, rejuvenate and restoring my mind and body’s sense of calm. My therapist used vanilla essential oil, a beautiful creamy sweet fragrance that when combined with a calming massage, lifted my spirits and invigorated me.
To eat, the hotel’s Buddha Beach Bar offers Mediterranean and Greek fusion cuisine as well as celebrated signature Buddha Bar specialties and cocktails. During the season, there is a mix of famous chefs, mixologists and DJ’s. Overlooking the turquoise Aggean sea, we indulged in a range of raw fish, delicate sushi and barbecued meats.
