We chat to TOWIE star Sam Faiers who is expecting her first child and who has also launched a hair styling range with Carmen.

Congratulations on your wonderful news. You look absolutely stunning pregnant. How have you found pregnancy so far?
Aww thank you very much. I’ve had a really nice pregnancy actually. No morning sickness or strange cravings. I was a bit tired in my first trimester but other than that it’s gone really smoothly.
Have you got any style tips for our readers on how to dress with a bump?
I would say first and for most be comfy but don’t be scared to show off your bump – lots of people like to cover up their tummies in loose fitting clothing but I’m really proud to show mine off and tighter clothes are often much more flattering.
Have you had any weird cravings?
None at all. The only thing is I have probably had more of a sweet tooth than usual and I’ve loved my spicy foods. Paul and I always get a Madras now when we go to the Indian.
You’ve recently said that marriage will one day be on the cards. Have you thought about what type of wedding you may want?
I’m not sure actually. You’d have to ask me when it happens. I change my mind all the time. Billie is the same, she wanted the big fairytale wedding but now I think she wants something small and intimate in Europe so we will see.
Have you been keeping fit and working out at all whilst you have been pregnant?
I have been doing the odd yoga class here and there and Paul and I like to go on long walks at the weekends but nothing too strenuous – I haven’t been up keeping my usual fitness regime but want to get back into my best possible shape a few months after the baby arrives.
You’re keeping the sex of the baby a surprise. Do you have a mother’s intuition of what gender the baby could be?
I’m really not sure, everyone has different opinions. Some people have said that because I am carrying quite low that it’s a boy but Billie thinks it is a girl. We don’t mind either way as long as he/she is healthy.
We love your new brunette locks at the moment. Is it true, do blondes have more fun?
I don’t know about that haha. I have been more sensible as a Brunette but think that’s more to do with the pregnancy than my hair colour.
You’ve teamed up with Carmen and have launched a range of hair styling tools. Can you tell our readers a little bit about the range?
Sure! So, the range has everything a woman needs to create luxurious hair for any occasion, whether it’s drinks with the girls or an everyday glamour look. So many women are torn between busy work schedules and social events, so my idea was to create an easy-to-use range of hair tools that take the stress and time out of styling.

What are your top tricks for a bad hair day?
My top tip to hair on the go has to be my mini straighteners! I always keep my Carmen by Samantha Cordless Rechargeable Straighteners with me, so that when I’m really busy dashing around I can always fix my hair on the go – especially if it’s raining!
You always look flawless. Any top tips for our readers on how to look fabulous in just five minutes?
Thank you! I would just say look after your skin, even if you’re in a rush pop some moisturiser on and a bit of mascara and you’re good to go and drink lots of water. The Carmen range is perfect for busy women – all the products are total time-savers
What’s your tips for looking red carpet ready?
Hmm, make sure you always have fresh nails and make sure you have a few different outfit options whether depending. Also, don’t be afraid to wear something slightly more out there than you usually would.
Describe your style in a sentence?
I would say my style varies depending on the event. I like to get dressed up and glam but equally love being casual and comfy when I’m just around the house.
Can you clue our readers in on any exciting projects you may be working on?
There’s lots of exciting projects coming up for me next year as well as plans to expand on my existing brands, although I will of course be spending the first few months looking after the baby. Watch this space I guess…
When you’re not busy working, what do you do to unwind and relax?
I like to be indoors making dinner for Paul and I and I love watching Saturday night TV and nesting
Who is your biggest inspiration?
Beauty wise I would have to say Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, definitely.

Uhm, the most beautiful way to start and end the day is with a grateful heart.
What is your ultimate wardrobe staple?
Ultimate wardrobe staple would be a good pair of jeans that fit like a glove.
