We chat to Laura Jackson, TV personality and cooking aficionado based in Haggerston, East London. She shares her converted warehouse flat with fashion photographer boyfriend, Jon, and their adorable whippet, Barry.

Can you tell our readers how you discovered presenting?

I have always wanted a job where I could just talk to people so presenting seemed like the best job for this. I got my break while working on the reception of Shoreditch house when a member introduced me to an agent.

Can you tell our readers about Jackson & Levine pop-ups?

Alice and I run a supperclub ‘Jackson&Levine’ we have been doing this for 3 and a half years now. We started cooking for people at my flat now we bring our supperclub to brands and have a book coming out soon – which is a recipe and supperclub book, released May 2017!

Who would you most like to interview?

Victoria Beckham, I’m a huge fan. I can’t name another person that’s been more successful in their second career than their first to the degree she has.

Who’s been the most interesting celeb you’ve met and why?

I think Snoop Dogg – he was so fascinated with the queen and was way more interesting than I thought, I was pretty start stuck to be honest!

Tell us about your involvement with The Clothes Show?

I’ve been going to the Clothes show for as long as I can remember, school trips every year to buy Christmas presents, watching the TV show with Caryn, and now I have been presenting there for a few years – I love it.

Can you tell our readers some of your favourite places to eat/drink/shop around London?

My favourite lunch spot is the Rochelle Canteen – they serve British seasonal fare in an old converted school in Shoreditch. I get plants from Grace and Thorn on Hackney Road, Dinner is Morito on Exmouth Market, I love tapas and sharing plates. The royal oak for a pint and a packet of crisps.

When you’re not busy working, what do you like to do to unwind?

I love to just see my boyfriend Jon and my mates. I have the best time just dossing in London with all my friends, and my dog Barry.

You have an enviable wardrobe. What are some of your most treasured pieces?

I love everything, I just love clothes!

How would you describe your style?

Consistently, inconsistent

What is your ultimate wardrobe staple?

A nice navy winter coat – invest in a coat it goes over everything for at least 6 months!

Who is your style inspiration?

People, I love to watch people in the street. Get a coffee and get gawking at passers-by, or surf Instagram for street style.

If you had to wear one label for the rest of your life what would it be?

Prada. Fashion must haves and investment tailored pieces, wardrobe sorted.

We are in the midst of Fashion Week, who’s collections have you been particularly impressed with this season?

Christopher Kane is smashing it, and Simone Rocha – all gorgeous!

What trends will you be following for SS17?

Maybe Crocs as seen at Christopher Kane – never say never!?!

Describe your perfect day off?

In bed watching Saturday kitchen, eating Avo on toast with a pint of red wine.

Which other women inspire you and why?

Working women who manage to juggle children, work and their social life and always look cool and collected.

Are there any exciting projects you are working on at the moment that you can share?

Yes – the book! It’s out May 2017 entitled ‘Round to Ours’ and filming Take me out the gossip on the Isle of Fernandos.

What are your top 3 style tips?

Invest in a good navy cashmere jumper

Only follow the trends that suit you and your body shape

Actually… don’t worry about trends – be you!
