The Renaissance Pub Group launch monthly get-togethers for mums.

The Renaissance pub group, based in London, have launched ‘Women In The Know’, a series of fun and informal monthly events that are guaranteed to inspire, motivate and awaken a passion for learning.

The next event they are holding is s a master class in wine tasting where you will learn the ins and outs of wine buying and enjoy some delicious canapés to match the wines. In November an independent florist will teach you everything you need to know about floral arrangements and following that  designer Beryl Ware who specialises in knitwear, will teach you everything from how to cast on and off, as well as how to make timeless classics that are totally unique. Anyone need a scarf for Christmas? This is the event for you.

After your ‘workshop’ you get to enjoy a two course meal (apart from in the wine sampling where it’s canapes). The menu choice has something to suit most, Chicken Ceasar Salad, a Goats Cheese Salad or the Organic Salmon and Pollock Fishcake (which I can confirm was delish), followed by a very generous portion of  Blueberry Cheesecake, Sticky Toffee Pudding or Sorbet, and glass of Red or White Wine. All this for just £15. The classes are held in the daytime, so you really need to have school age children to be able to go.
