The Taste of Christmas food festival returns to London this November, with a host of famous chefs, pop-up restaurants, a festive foodie market and a brand new location.
Some of London’s most exciting restaurants and best-loved chefs will be making their way to London’s trendy Tabacco Dock this November as Taste of Christmas returns to the Capital.
Spread over four days, from Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th November, Taste offers foodies the chance to gain some tips and tricks in time for their own Christmas dinner, be inspired by the foods and flavours of London’s top restaurants and even pick up a few Christmas presents at the event’s boutique festive market.
And to ensure the event is truly unique and inspiring, there won’t just be turkey and sprouts on the menu. No, gastronomy from around the globe will be on offer from hearty British pub grub courtesy of The Truscott Arms to Michelin starred Spanish cuisine from Ametsa with Arzak Instruction, and some seasonal spice from top Indian restaurant, The Cinnamon Club.
Visitors will not only get the chance to taste the restaurant’s dishes but learn how to make their own festive feasts with the help of some of the world’s top chefs.
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall will be on hand to rustle up some tasty treats straight from River Cottage, whilst La Gavroche’s Sous chef, Monica Galetti will be making her Taste debut with her boss and mentor, Michel Roux Jr.
London’s most talked about restaurateur Mark Hix will also be in attendance as will one of TV’s most recognised female chefs, Gizzi Erskine. It’s safe to say the Taste line up is a stellar one this year.
Taste of Christmas also offers the perfect opportunity to snap up some Christmas gifts, as over 180 fine food, artisan and drinks stalls will be popping up. Whilst know which wine to match with your Stilton or which whiskey to serve post Christmas dinner, with a wealth of food and drink tastings taking place throughout the four day event.
