The Backyard Cinema is popping up at Camden Lock, returning with an outdoor cinema experience that will transform your summer. 

Featuring 20 immersive shows over an eight-week period, going to the cinema has never been so fun than with The Backyard Cinema.

“This year we wanted to go even bigger – more beanbags, bigger screen, more films and louder speakers. Brewdog and Honest Burgers are on side to finish the job and this year we really want crowd interaction. This is Backyard Cinema not the opera, lots of drinks, lots of food, a great movie in an iconic setting. One of the joys of going to the movies was that it was trashy and we should never lose that. Not just your average cinema, the interactive experience is held in the heart of Camden Lock Market and features 200 giant beanbag loungers and deck chairs. Wave goodbye to stiff, upright seats and simply sink into a slump and relax whilst you enjoy a blockbuster.

And to ensure that no one goes home hungry, Honest Burgers will be on hand, dishing up burgers and fries, alongside an offering of popcorn and cupcakes will be on hand throughout the film.

With screenings of Gravity, Dallas Buyers Club, Silver Linings Playbook and Pulp Fiction to name a few, the Backyard Cinema offers a range of contemporary and cult films to sit back, relax and enjoy.
