Sophie La Girafe Baby Beauty

Sophie La Girafe & Baby OIlFamous French baby toy, Sophie La Girafe launches an organic skincare range just for babies this March, exclusively at Harrods.

Who knew a baby teether could gain worldwide success and a fan club to match? Well, French baby toy and teether, Sophie La Girafe has done just that, after a British couple with new baby twins discovered the toy whilst holidaying in France, back in 2008.

In her homeland of France Sophie La Girafe has actually been a baby favourite since 1961, but this year will stretch her success even further with the launch of a new organic baby beauty line.

The seven-piece, organic skincare collection will launch here in the UK exclusively at Harrods, and promises to bring mums and little ones the best premium ingredients suitable for delicate skin.

A wealth of gentle yet hardworking ingredients have been used in Sophie’s collection. Whole organic white tea leaves a delicate scent on the skin, whilst organic lavender water will soothe and moisturise, and organic Nordic blueberry oil, which is one of world’s most powerful antioxidants, will help to soothe sensitive baby skin and fortify it.

Luxurious oils including; olive, jojoba and apricot kernel will nourish, protect and keep skin supple, whilst organic oat milk has been used to lower the risk of allergic skin reactions and inflammations.

The collection comprises Baby Protection Cream, Baby Body Lotion, Baby Oil, Baby Face Cream, Bubble Bath and Hair & Body Wash – all packaged up in Sophie’s signature pretty pastel style.

But it is the Baby Starter Kit, which we are most excited about. Priced at £14.99, it will make a thoughtful and charming gift for a newborn or mum-to-be, and includes some of Sophie’s baby beauty must-haves.

The entire range is also dermatalogically tested so you can be sure it wont irritate even the most delicate of skins, includes no allergens and is 100% vegan.

Baby beauty doesn’t come much more natural than that.

Sophie La Girafe skincare collection will launch at Harrods, in store and online, from March 2014.
