The legendary Paddington Bear teams up with babyGap this spring for an adorable childrenswear collection.
His blue duffle coat, marmalade sandwiches and little red rain hat have been charming little ones for decades. This spring, the best-loved Paddington Bear comes to babyGap in a limited edition collection for your own little cubs.
The Paddington Bear for babyGap line follows on from last year’s successful Peter Rabbit collaboration, which saw the Beatrix Potter classic adorn a selection of baby basics.
Spring ‘14’s offering welcomes Paddington onto a babyGap clothing line and gift collection, from adorable all-in-ones to sweet little rain hats, baby booties to printed tees.
Available in store and online, the limited edition collection takes inspiration from Peggy Fortnum’s original illustrations from the Paddington Bear storybooks. Expect the much-loved characters favourite colour palette to run through the collection – royal blue, London bus red and those famous fisherman yellow wellington boots.
For little girls, the collection offers a number of Paddington inspired dresses, from spring embroidered smocks to tulip prints. A polka dot ruffled jumpsuit in Paddington blue and cable knit cardigans complete the collection.
For little boy cubs, there’s raglan style t-shirts and babygrows, knitted hats complete with bear ears, and checked shirts in Paddington’s favourite shades.
