Massimo Dutti Boys & Girls

Massimo Dutti Boys & Girls A/W CollectionPracticality and style lie at the heart of Massimo Dutti’s Boys & Girls’ Autumn/Winter Collection.

Spanish super brand Massimo Dutti first opened its doors back in 1985.  Initially only consisting of men’s corporate fashion, the company has now grown to a massive 525 stores worldwide with various womenswear lines, childrens and baby.

The new Boys & Girls Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection translates the brand’s adults line perfectly into childrenswear and is now available to buy online.  The range is sure to be a hit with fashion-forward parents looking to steer clear of the usual glittery pink girls clothes and pared-down utility boys pieces that are all too apparent on the British high street.  Shot against a leafy woodland background, the campaign shots are stunning and drawl on timeless trends such as College, Equestrian, and British Heritage.

For the girls, pile on the layers in scarlet chunky polo necks, jodhpur-inspired trousers in cream with tan knee patches, and woollen grey shorts over tights.  Accesseries include soft fair isle scarves and beautifully buckled riding boots that make us want to stamp on crunchy autumn leaves.  The stand-out piece of the collection has to be a buttery-soft leather jacket with shearing collar.

Plaid shirts, corduroy blazers, wintery duffles, and cashmere sweaters in tones of olive, deep marine blue, and rusty orange make up the boys collection.  To finish off the look, the burgundy lace-up boots are perfect for any little gentleman.

The range is available in ages 2-16 years.  Prices vary from £80 for a winter coat, £29 for boys shirts and £39 for jumpers.
