Kid’s Jelly Shoes Raise Money For MENCAP

JuJu Raspberry Jelly ShoesJuJu footwear have launched an adorable range of kid’s jelly shoes to help raise funds and awareness for learning disability charity, MENCAP.

From rock pooling to days at the park, as children our feet were never without a pair of classic jelly shoes during the school summer holidays. Well, we’re pleased to tell you that the original JuJu jelly shoe is still going strong, and now our very own little ones can rock the ultimate summer sandal too.

This spring, JuJu has teamed up with MENCAP to support and raise awareness for the charity dedicated to helping people with learning difficulties. As part of the Project Jelly campaign, the partnership sees a range of limited edition children’s jellies launch to ensure you little one’s feet look sweet and stylish this season. The collection will not only put MENCAP in the spotlight, but also raise important funds for the charity with 25% from each pair of shoes being donated.

The project aims to repackage the charity in a fun, cool and eye-catching way, and by the looks of the adorable kid’s footwear designs we’re sure it will. The money will then go towards making the lives of those living with learning difficulties that little bit easier, be it through education, housing, support or leisure.

Speaking on the inaugural collection, project founder Natalie Collier said, “Project Jelly has come directly from my kitchen table, to JuJu’s Northampton Factory, to the Heads of MENCAP and now on it’s way to some brilliant retailers. We wanted to champion the amazing way MENCAP help families and shout it from the rooftops in a fun and innovative way.”

Two mini-me jelly styles will launch initially for Project Jelly – the summery Watermelon Rocks and the sugary sweet, Raspberry Mivi. Available in sizes 4-10 junior, these adorable little shoes are a summer must-have for stylish little feet.

The JuJu Project Jelly shoes are available to buy online from mid April 2013, priced at £17.95. 25% of profit made from each pair of shoes sold will go directly to MENCAP.
