Global style destination for kids AlexandAlexa.com founder Alex Theophanous announces the first ever Global Kids’ Fashion Week with Camilla Batmanghelidjh, founder of charity Kids Company.
StyleNest was thrilled to be at the announcement of Global Kids’ Fashion Week in support of Kids Company, the cause supports vulnerable inner city children in London where all proceeds from the public fashion show will go to the Kids Company.
Set to take place in March 2013, Global Kid’s Fashion Week (GKFW) will be a grand finale to the Autumn Winter Fashion Week. GKFW will showcase luxury and stylish kids fashion from both reputable as well as budding designers. GKFW will take place over a three day period and all ticket sale proceeds to the public show will be donated directly towards the Kids Company charity. Runway shows, performances, exhibitions by the V&A Museum of Childhood, industry talks and fun activities like a performance from the London Children’s Ballet will all take place over the course of this innovative new event.
Launched only just five years ago, husband and wife Alex Theophanous and Alexa Till decided to launch a global style destination for kids AlexandAlexa.com. With two children, the couple know the aggravation of shopping trips and thus the online destination for childrenswear was born, AlexandAlexa.com, a boutique for luxury kids clothes and accessories, without the stress.
