Clara Button & The Magical Hat Day

Clara Button with hatsMini fashionistas will love the new series of children’s books written by fashion curator and author Amy de la Haye, and beautifully illustrated by Emily Sutton.

Clara Button and The Magical Hat Day is the first story in a series that sees Clara – a little girl with a big love for fashion, take on adventures in the V&A Museum. When her older brother Ollie breaks her favourite hat, Clara is distraught but luckily mum saves the day with a trip to the Victoria and Albert, where she embarks on magical adventures amongst the museums famous fashion exhibits.

Written by Amy de la Haye who formerly curated the acclaimed 20th Century Fashion at the V&A and wrote fashion books on Lucile and Chanel; this children’s story packs a real fashion punch but is sweet and naïve enough to be age appropriate. The story is backed up beautifully by Emily Sutton’s endearing illustrations.

This book will make a lovely gift for any little girls who love hats just as much as Clara Button – she’s a girl after our own hearts.

Clara Button and The Magical Hat Day is priced at £10.99 from the V&A Shop.
