Inspired by her five year old daughter Betty, musician turned fashion designer Pearl Lowe launches a beautiful collection of vintage-esque dresses for little girls.
With seven successful womenswear lines for Peacocks in the bag, Pearl Lowe has now turned her hand to childrenswear, to create an adorable range of dresses for stylish little girls. Just in time for the Christmas party season, the collection hits stores and goes online on 10th November.
The collection itself was not only inspired by little Betty but she also had a good say in what she wanted out of the dresses too. Standout pieces have to be a sweet cream lace dress inspired by Betty’s vintage doll collection and a red smock which clearly references her favourite storybook, Red Riding Hood.
With a colour palette of reds, pinks, creams, and black, the collection is the perfect choice for a Christmas party. Each dress features vintage inspired details such as ribbons, floral corsages, Peter Pan collars, velvet and ornate lace.
Pearl sums the collection up perfectly when she says “Vintage is increasingly harder to find these days and I wanted to design a collection that celebrated traditional style, was affordable and perfect for little girl’s parties.”
Available in ages two to eight, the collection hits stores and online on 10th November. Price points are between £25 and £30.
