This year marks 25 years of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. To celebrate this success in all its glory Bobbi and Balthazar Covent Garden have collaborated for the Christmas Party Season with a sparkling afternoon tea with a twist.

The Bobbi Brown “Party Edition” sees Balthazar’s Head Pastry Chef, Régis Beauregard create the most stunning cakes, macaroons, financiers, shortbread and mousses, all in the image of your favourite Bobbi Brown cosmetics.

These will include the iconic ‘Hollywood Red Lip Gloss’ in the form of an irresistible vanilla yogurt mousse filled with rosewater jelly on a sponge base, and the Blueberry and Lemon ‘Smokey Eye Mascara’ disguised in the form of a chocolate covered almond financier with blueberry consommé and whipped lemon posset. Of course, the famous ‘Shimmer Brick’ is also transformed with an infusion of champagne and rhubarb; the perfect Christmas treat.

Balthazar Head Barman, Brian Silva, has also created the innovative ‘Bobbi’s Sparkle’ cocktail- a concoction of Sipsmith Gin, Elderflower, Lemon and Champagne to mark the occasion. Guests are invited to arrange a complimentary makeup lesson at Bobbi Brown’s Covent Garden Studio and purchase each of the sweet treats in cosmetic form as part of the Limited Edition Balthazar Party Pouch – available exclusively from all stand-alone Bobbi stores.

The Bobbi Brown Afternoon Tea – The Party Edition at Balthazar will run every day and is £27.50 for the Bobbi Brown Afternoon Tea, and £37.50 for the Bobbi Brown Afternoon Tea with a Bobbi’s Sparkle or a glass of Gyéjacquot Brut NV Champagne.
