Preparation Time: 10 minutes plus chilling
What You’ll Need:
- 250g California Walnuts
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons walnut or vegetable oil (or as needed)
- 3 tablespoons sweet cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
- California Walnuts, fresh raspberries and mint sprigs, to decorate
What To Do:
- Place the walnuts in the bowl of a food processor and grind them until they become sticky or paste-like. Add the salt and then add the oil, a few drops at a time, and blend until the mixture forms a smooth butter.
- Add the cocoa powder, honey, vanilla and avocado to the food processor and blend until smooth.
- Spoon into small bowls. Decorate with California Walnuts, fresh raspberries and mint sprigs and chill for 1-2 hours.
