Spicy Chilli Con Carne

Sweet pepper chilli lifestyleA classic Mexican dish, warming and rich in flavour with hot chillies.

Serves 4

What You’ll Need:

  • 500g minced beef
  • 1 tub Santa Maria Chilli Paste Medium
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 200ml water
  • 1 can red kidney beans, drained and washed

What To Do:

  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan
  • Add beef and fry until brown
  • Add Santa Maria Chilli Paste Medium, tomatoes and beans. Cover with a lid and simmer for about 5 minutes stirring occasionally
  • Serve hot in Santa Maria Plain Flour Tortillas or with rice, Santa Maria Red jalapeños and Santa Maria Soured Cream
  • Serve with warmed corn and wheat tortillas or rice

Serve with Santa Maria Red Jalapeños, Rice or Santa Maria Plain Flour Soft Tortillas
