Parcafé at The Dorchester

ParacafeThe Dorchester has expanded its repertoire of casual dining spots with the addition of Parcafé next to the iconic ballroom. While The Promenade already offers sublime all-day dining in a comfortable setting, Parcafé works under a different brief – to be the absolute pinnacle of coffee culture in London.

Coffee craft has long been a big trend in London, with many pop ups and small bolt holes grinding their coffee beans day to day, but this is the first time that a luxury hotel has tried it’s hand at true coffee artisanship. The Dorchester intends to bring its timeless elegance to proceedings, serving the finest freshly ground coffees, speciality teas and freshly squeezed juices. Food wise, nibble on classic café fare such as morning pastries, fruit platters, sandwiches and salads. Sweet teeth are satisfied with plates piled high with cookies, cupcakes, and homemade fudge.

All the stops have been pulled out on the design front. Gorgeous Italian La Marzocco coffee machines will serve as the focal point of the room, complimenting a stylish interior of marble floors, copious flowers, and rich bronze touches. The Dorchester’s resident florist Phil Hammond has created a selection of floral displays to purchase, alongside a variety of edible goodies.

This is a café where you also get a bit of pampering. Expert baristas are on hand to deliver a bespoke service in a setting that’s sure to become a favourite for both coffee meetings, and lazing away an afternoon.

Parcafé opened the end of September 2015. The opening hours are from 6:30 to 20:30.
