I was already sold on NIO Cocktails when I saw the tagline “Premium, ready-to-drink cocktails, delivered by post” but as I delved a bit deeper into the brand, I got really excited!
When they say, “delivered by post”, your slimline box of chosen cocktail sachets is literally posted through your letter box, the cocktails are already prepared and ready to drink – you simply pour your cocktail sachet over ice, allow to chill and then drink!
I am not a fan of the cans of cocktails you can get in supermarkets these days (I’m not snobby, I just find them too sweet, and I once had a horrific hangover from them which I blame on the sugar content, and not my excessive behaviour that night of course…..). With NIO, you can taste the premium quality with each sip; such crisp and distinct, fresh flavours make it hard to believe you received them through the post and not in a swanky cocktail bar!
There are 26 different cocktails to choose from, which you pick yourself to make your own bespoke box of 3, 6 or 9 cocktails. All the classics are there from Sex & the City favourite, Cosmopolitan, to the chic and stylish Old Fashioned, with all the Daquiris, Martinis and Sours in between! My favourite is Garden of Russia a fruity Vodka based cocktail with a refreshing twist of Elderflower, the perfect aperitif.
