If you liked Q on the Roof at Selfridges, then you will love Le Chalet, due to pop-up on Wednesday 22 October.
In keeping with the changing of seasons, the second residency on the roof of Selfridges will have a winter Alpine style and will be operated by Des McDonald.
With a hearty Alpine inspired barbecue menu alongside a crab and shellfish bar, guests will be able climb London’s best department store and retreat to the log cabin or hot chocolate cocktail bar for the perfect cure to warm the cockles.
Dishes include Cornish crab served with pickled celeriac and Colman’s mustard, Peppered tuna with wasabi avocado, and Endive and pear salad with shaved pecorino and hazelnuts to start. As well as hearty Buttermilk chicken schnitzel with blue cheese fondue, Air dried beef and baked raclette and Smoked Highland venison and black pepper “neeps”
And it doesn’t stop there, indulge in ‘choctails’ including The Cuban (Rum, cinnamon, hot chocolate) and Double Choc (Brandy, white chocolate and hot chocolate), the perfect winter warmer on a chilly autumn eve.
Opening on 22 October, Le Chalet will be open until late February.
