This Thursday evening 30 October, Fortnum & Mason are offering an exclusive tequila masterclass hosted by tequila expert Jose Cuervo – the man behind the Jose Cuervo tequila brand. Taking place in Fortnum & Mason’s ‘hidden treasure’, The Crypt, there could be no better backdrop to celebrate this historic Day of the Dead..

In celebration of Day of the Dead, a high-spirited holiday of remembrance, Jose Cuervo will be hosting two evening master classes on Thursday 30th October which are open to the public. Fortnum & Mason’s historic crypt seats only 10-16 making each masterclass an exclusive affair.

The master classes will guide guests through the world of tequila, teaching them about the different styles, production, how to drink it and how to use it in cocktails. Guests will also be given the chance to try Jose Cuervo’s premium spirit, Tradicional Silver, the brand new 1800 Coconut, and the limited-edition seasonal serve, the Cuervo’s Autumnal Tradicional Sour – a delicious margarita made with fig puree.

These master classes are sure to transform any tequila novice into a cocktail champion, right on time for the festive season!
