Tucker launches Denim Heritage Collection exclusively at Trilogy this May.
Following on from the success of last season’s Tucker and Trilogy collaboration, the New York cult label and British denim specialists have joined forces again to launch The Denim Heritage Collection. The collection comprises six limited edition printed blouses and four limited edition block colour blouses, which will all only be sold exclusively through Trilogy in store and online.
Tucker has worked closely with Trilogy on the collaboration, taking inspiration from the heritage of denim – something Trilogy definitely know a thing or two about.
Lesley Torson, fonder of Trilogy explains, “We researched the history of jeans and loved the authenticity of the cowboy look.” This can be seen in the collection as quirky prints of cowboy boots and colourful Stetsons unexpectedly adorn silk blouses. “The prints we have designed capture the look and lifestyle of cowboys but using bright colours and gorgeous silks that have become synonymous with Tucker” says Lesley. What the duo have created is a selection of really wearable, fun blouses that are the perfect pairing to your trusty jeans.
The standout piece of the Limited Edition collection has to be the Peacock Cowboy Print Blouse (£245 at www.trilogystores.co.uk) The versatile blouse would work equally as well with jeans as it would tucked into a chic pencil skirt. The pop of turquoise blue and red also make it ideal for rocking this season’s summer brights trend.
